Born, raised and educated in Adelaide, Christian relocated to London in 2002 with the loose plan to travel through much of Europe, and meet as many people as possible. Six years later and via 12 months living in Italy, Christian returned to Australia as an established and accomplished executive recruiter, possessing the desire to build an Australian search business akin to what he’d experienced in the United Kingdom.
It was during the 2002 to 2008 period in London when Christian and Andrew crossed paths. Fortuitously, they were hired into the same division within a large UK PLC, and then subsequently joined the UK’s leading boutique Tax and Legal search practice, continuing to work closely together until Christian’s decision to return to Australia in 2008.
Christian founded Maven Partners in Australia in 2012, and is one of the Partners leading Maven Partners’ Asia Pacific practice. He is a key advisor and supplier to many of the region’s largest employers of accounting and legal professionals.
Christian has been responsible for some of the highest profile appointments in the Australian professional services and commerce taxation markets. His clients and candidates appreciate his absolute discretion, integrity, loyalty and honesty: mutually beneficial relationships are central to his approach.
Christian lives in Melbourne with his wife and two young children. He enjoys Melbourne’s outstanding restaurants and social scene; less so Melbourne’s notorious winter. He is a long-suffering supporter of the Carlton Football Club and is involved in local community sport where he coaches his daughter’s football team and son’s cricket team.

Born and raised in Sydney, and with a 20-year international career in the Big 4 and as a technical specialist recruiter, Andrew is a Partner in Maven Partners’ Asia Pacific practice. Andrew is considered one of the leading specialist search consultants in the Australian market and has successfully sourced senior professionals in a range of professional services disciplines.
Andrew has a global network of tax, legal and accounting professionals covering locations across Australia, Asia, UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA.
Andrew began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand / PwC in Sydney, where he spent seven years in Sydney and Melbourne. He relocated to London in the early 2000’s and began his executive search career as a Senior Tax Search Consultant, predominantly focused on the financial services sector. He used his networks to help establish a firm in Asia, before relocating back to Australia in 2009. Since returning to Australia, he has been responsible for many very high-profile Partner moves across the country.
Andrew lives in Sydney with his English wife and two young children. A ‘patriotic’ Sydneysider and sports lover, Andrew loves all the city has to offer and is a passionate supporter of the Cronulla Sharks.
