Our client a specialist global provider of outsourced corporate, fund and private client administration, reporting and fiduciary services are looking to appoint a Finance Manager.

This successful candidate will ensure the Finance Officer’s duties are completed correctly and reviewed thoroughly to ensure no errors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Production of Statutory Financial Accounts
  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts and maintenance of flexed budgets
  • Signing off bank reconciliation for both fee and payment bank accounts
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts including: 
    • VAT & Tax ledgers
    • Salary and payroll control accounts; and,
    • Investments in subsidiaries, goodwill and intercompany accounts
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Production of Tax Return information
  • Maintenance of annual flexed budgets
  • Audit liaison and preparation of materials for audit
  • Procedures manual, ensuring all work done is in accordance with the finance procedures manual and updating as appropriate
  • Plan and priorities own workload and work with colleagues to ensure that targets/deadlines are achieved
  • Train and manage members of the team (Accounts Payable and Billing and Timesheets teams)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • ACCA part qualified or equivalent qualification

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • High attention to detail, accuracy and timely completion of work
  • Good IT skills is essential
  • Positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to learn new tasks and processes effectively
  • Good communication and excellent inter-personal skills
