Our client a leading private bank are looking to appoint a permanent Managing Director of the company's Trust division.  In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing the Trust business and ensuring operation and fiduciary risk exposures are appropriately managed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead, direct and manage the trust business to ensure that it meets its regulatory risk and control requirements
• Act as Managing Director of the trust company and as a director of the in-house subsidiaries
• Develop the trust company as a profitable entity
• Drive forward business growth
• Promote the highest standard of client service administration
• Provide leadership and motivation to the business teams by actively encouraging staff development
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• To promote and support the aims of the company and to demonstrate the Group’s core values
• To develop and maintain effective working relationships
• Focus on quality service delivery whilst identifying potential business opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven qualified professional with a minimum of 15 years management experience of trust and fiduciary services
• In depth knowledge of business development, operational and financial activities
• Must maintain awareness of industry developments and best practice (such as regulatory, fiscal and legislative) including those in other jurisdictions
• Hold a relevant professional qualification (ICSA, ACCA, ACIB) enabling them to hold table 4 or table 5 qualifications
• Proven ability to lead a team
