Senior Fund Administrator in Company Secretarial

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Fund Administrator in Company Secretarial.

The primary purpose of this non-client facing position is to carry out and provide oversight of all company secretarial matters under the direction of a Client Relationship Manager. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-ordinate all company secretarial matters, including attendance at and preparation of minutes for Board, Committee and ad hoc meetings, including liaison with clients and intermediaries as necessary 
  • Oversee production and circulation of board packs in respect of Board, Committee and ad hoc meetings  
  • Oversee production of basic minutes by junior staff, and provide basic minutes training where required 
  • Monitor status of all minute logs, ensure agreed turnaround times are adhered to and assist with periodic reporting of statistics in relation to the status of outstanding minutes 
  • Assist in the preparation of electronic payment instructions
  • Assist in the maintenance of investor records and the processing of investor changes on relevant systems, as and when required by the Client Relationship Manager 
  • Oversee the timely filing of statutory and other returns (e.g. Jersey company annual returns), with direction from the Client Relationship Manager
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • The candidate will be expected to be studying towards or have achieved a relevant professional qualification (preferably ICSA Diploma level or equivalent) 

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Sound technical financial services knowledge
  • Computer literacy skills are essential 
  • Very good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
