We're partnering with a highly regarded international organisation operating within the philanthropic and investment sector to recruit an exceptional Accountant. This is a rare opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a collaborative, high-performing team where you'll initially focus on the finance function, with the opportunity to broaden your exposure into strategic projects, research and investment-related initiatives as your interests and career develop.

The ideal candidate will be approximately 3–5 years post qualification, although more experienced individuals will also be considered if they are the right fit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership of accounting and financial operations across a number of entities
• Prepare management accounts, interim and year-end financial statements
• Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare financial and regulatory reporting, including tax returns where required
• Monitor expenditure, cash flow and financial performance across the organisation
• Assist with investment portfolio valuation and performance reporting
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, controls and operational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions within a small, high-performing team
• Over time, gain exposure to wider strategic initiatives, research and investment-related projects, depending on your interests and aptitude

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Approximately 3–5 years' post-qualification experience, although more experienced candidates will also be considered
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience preparing statutory and management reporting
• Experience working within a complex, international or multi-entity environment would be advantageous
• Investment reporting or financial modelling experience would be beneficial but is not essential
