Join a busy and supportive finance team as a Finance Administrator / Accounts Payable professional on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised individual to make an immediate impact, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time while supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the finance function. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and manage accounts payable, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records
  • Assist with month-end and other financial reporting tasks
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable in the financial services industry
  • Experience using accounting software, particularly NavOne
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
  • Experience in reconciling accounts and processing invoices efficiently
  • An understanding of double entry bookkeeping

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
