Accounts Preparer (Part Time Considered)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and review accounts for trusts, companies, and other entities in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with colleagues across the trust company to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Ensure all accounting records and reports are maintained in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Provide support to client-facing teams, ensuring that all financial matters are communicated effectively and handled with precision
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- AAT or CAT qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent)
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in a client accounting role
- A sound knowledge of U.K. taxation particularly around accounting for investments
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Good at building and maintaining relationships, with first-rate interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
- Organised with exceptional time management and attention to detail, adaptable to a changing environment
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and determined to drive projects to completion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software systems
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
