Administrator, Private Clients
Apply for this jobWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our client's Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career within the fiduciary services sector, supporting the administration of a varied portfolio of companies, trusts and other structures.
Working closely with the Trust Manager and Client Director, you will assist in ensuring that client affairs are administered efficiently, accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and the highest standards of client service. This role offers exposure to a broad range of private client matters and provides excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts, companies and other client structures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and statutory documentation
- Prepare and process routine client transactions and administrative matters
- Support the onboarding of new clients and entities, ensuring all due diligence requirements are met
- Assist with periodic client reviews and ongoing monitoring requirements
- Liaise with clients, intermediaries and professional advisers in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and relevant legislation
- Support the Trust Manager and Client Director with administrative and client service activities
- Assist with the preparation of documentation for meetings, transactions and regulatory submissions
- Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality client service experience at all times
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics at Grade C/Level 4 or above
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative role, ideally within Fiduciary Services, Trust & Company administration, Financial Services or a professional office environment
- Holds, or is willing to undertake, a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI, ACCA or equivalent
- Basic understanding of corporate and trust structures
- Basic understanding of Jersey AML legislation relevant to own responsibilities
- Good IT skills, including practical experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Basic understanding of trust and company accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping
