Apply for this jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – AML to join a well-established financial services firm, supporting the delivery of a strong and effective AML/CFT framework across the business and its regulated client portfolio.
Working closely with the Head of Compliance and AML/CFT/PF Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulatory obligations, contributing to the firm’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of governance and integrity.
This role would suit an ambitious compliance professional with solid AML experience who’s looking to step up into a more autonomous, trusted position within a collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of the AML/CFT programme for the firm and its clients
- Assist in monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on compliance and AML/CFT matters to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Conduct and oversee client due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and risk assessments
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on AML/CFT obligations and best practice
- Identify potential compliance risks and escalate issues as appropriate
- Assist with training, policy updates, and internal reviews to strengthen the firm’s compliance culture
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in an AML-focused role within financial services
- Diploma-level professional compliance qualification (ICA Diploma or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT legislation and regulatory frameworks
