Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs
Apply for this jobWe’re searching for an Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs to join the newly established Jersey base of a globally respected international conglomerate. This is an in-house position — offering exposure to a complex, diverse corporate structure while being backed by the resources and stability of an established international brand.
We’re looking for a professional with 5–7 years’ experience in a corporate or fiduciary role, ideally within financial services, and at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity. If you’re seeking something different from the traditional CSP route and are ready to make an impact at both a local and global level, this could be the move for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the administration of a portfolio of corporate entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all statutory and regulatory obligations
- Build and maintain strong client and intermediary relationships, providing a professional and solutions-focused service
- Oversee and coordinate company secretarial matters including board meetings, resolutions, filings, and shareholder records
- Review and prepare corporate documentation, contracts, and filings, liaising with regulatory and government bodies where required
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members, providing technical guidance and encouraging professional development
- Contribute to projects such as corporate restructures, mergers, and other special initiatives
- Promote best practice, service innovation, and continuous improvement across the team
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (CGI or STEP preferred)
- 5–7 years’ experience in a similar corporate or fiduciary role, ideally within financial services
- At least 2 years’ experience at supervisor or manager level
- Strong understanding of company law, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management methodologies
