We’re supporting a leading financial services provider in their search for an Assistant Manager, Funds.

As Assistant Manager, you’ll deliver exceptional service to fund clients, ensuring administration tasks are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements. Alongside your portfolio responsibilities, you’ll provide technical guidance and coaching to junior administrators, helping to build a high-performing, engaged team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage the administration of a portfolio of fund clients, ensuring the highest standards of client service
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships
  • Review and sign off work, providing feedback and training to junior team members
  • Support the development and motivation of the team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficient use of systems

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Proven experience in fund administration, ideally holding or working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. STEP, CGI)
  • Familiarity with systems such as Private Capital Suite, Viewpoint, or other document management tools would be an advantage

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Strong client service skills with the confidence to act independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others
  • Organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
