Assistant to the Group Company Secretary
Apply for this jobWe are seeking an experienced Assistant to the Group Company Secretary to join a well-established financial services organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a governance professional looking to work within a multi-jurisdictional environment, supporting the Group’s governance framework and company secretarial function across various jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory obligations, whilst providing effective support across a broad range of company secretarial and governance matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Group Company Secretary across all company secretarial and governance matters
- Assist with the maintenance and administration of the Group’s governance framework across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and filing obligations
- Prepare and coordinate board and committee packs, agendas, minutes, and resolutions
- Maintain statutory records and corporate documentation
- Support with board meeting administration and action tracking
- Liaise with regulators, directors, and internal stakeholders where required
- Assist with governance reviews, policy updates, and regulatory developments
- Support the wider business in relation to company secretarial and governance queries
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- CGI qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience within a company secretarial or governance role within Financial Services
- Strong knowledge of Company Secretarial practices and Guernsey Company Law
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape for licensees offering administrative services

- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
