Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking dynamic and experienced individual to lead the team as Associate Director, Trust, with their expanding trust and wealth management business.

As an Associate Director, Trust, you'll be at the forefront of the trust and wealth management business, overseeing complex trust, company, and limited partnership structures. Your role is pivotal, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise and the ability to navigate intricate trust landscapes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver efficient, considered and diligent management of a portfolio of high net-worth clients
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of a designated client portfolio to ensure a personalised service is provided
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to staff
  • Effectively delegate and training of others
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new clients
  • Meeting clients and their advisors either in Jersey or further afield
  • Ensuring that all activities undertaken reflect and respect the companies ethical charter

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have “Entitled for Work” status i.e. minimum of 5 years residency in Jersey
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience in the trust sector
  • A detailed and wide ranging knowledge and experience of administering a variety of offshore structures and asset classes/types
  • A sound knowledge of the relevant codes and laws
  • STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management and/or ICSA Diploma/professional in Offshore Finance and Administration
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the trust and wealth management industry
