Apply for this jobOur client, a long-established and highly regarded fiduciary business, is seeking an Associate Director – Trust to join their leadership team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled trust professional with strong corporate experience, and ideally, a blend of private client exposure.
This role is central to the firm’s continued growth and success, with a clear focus on delivering exceptional client service, supporting senior leadership, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing existing client relationships, as well as developing new opportunities through business development initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a senior client contact, overseeing day-to-day servicing across a portfolio of trust and corporate structures
- Support the senior leadership team in the execution of business strategy and maintaining the firm’s strong client service culture
- Lead and mentor more junior members of the team, ensuring alignment with operational best practices
- Maintain and grow a personal portfolio of clients, ensuring service excellence and compliance
- Actively engage in business development, networking, and relationship management to attract new clients and opportunities
- Ensure all regulatory and legal obligations are met across client structures
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Have significant industry experience of working with High Net Worth clients and on complex structures within the fiduciary field (10+ years’ experience)
- Have some knowledge of accounting and financial statement review process
- Strong background in corporate trust and fiduciary services is essential; private client experience is highly advantageous
- Hold a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP, ICSA/ACCA or ACA or similar)
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulatory environments
- Proven experience of contributing to business development
