Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable (3 month FTC)
Apply for this jobWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and manage accounts payable, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records
- Assist with month-end and other financial reporting tasks
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
- Experience in reconciling accounts and processing invoices efficiently

- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
