We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment of invoices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and manage accounts payable, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records
  • Assist with month-end and other financial reporting tasks
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
  • Experience in reconciling accounts and processing invoices efficiently

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
