Apply for this jobWe are partnering with a prestigious Family Office in Turkey to appoint a Chief Data & Technology Officer. This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for shaping the family office’s technology strategy, driving digital transformation, enhancing data capabilities, and ensuring a secure, efficient, and future-focused technology environment.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the technology roadmap, leading AI adoption, strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, and implementing automated business systems that support operational excellence, reporting accuracy, and long-term strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the family office’s technology environment
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap covering automation, AI adoption, digital transformation, reporting tools, cybersecurity, and systems enhancement
- Lead the assessment, selection, implementation, and optimisation of new technology solutions
- Drive the adoption of AI and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency
- Establish governance frameworks for AI usage, ensuring confidentiality
- Coordinate cybersecurity risk management
- Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to monitor technology, cybersecurity, data privacy, and information security risks
- Oversee data governance, architecture, quality, ownership, system integrations, and controlled access to sensitive family office information
- Support consolidated reporting by ensuring accurate data flows across key financial and operational systems
- Manage relationships with technology vendors
- Lead system implementation projects
- Ensure technology projects are delivered within agreed budgets, timelines, and governance requirements
- Maintain technology policies and procedures
- Coordinate disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and technology resilience planning
- Provide regular technology, cybersecurity, AI adoption, and systems implementation updates to senior leadership and governance teams
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications in technology, cybersecurity, data management, or project management would be advantageous
- Significant experience leading technology functions within complex organisations, ideally within a family office, financial services, investment, or high-confidentiality environment
- Strong experience with automated business systems, digital transformation initiatives, AI adoption, and emerging technologies
- Proven experience in technology roadmap development, systems implementation, data governance, cybersecurity coordination, and vendor management
- Experience supporting business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and technology risk management
