Chief Financial Officer, Family Office
Apply for this jobWe are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join a prestigious Family Office. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with a strong Family Office background to lead and oversee complex financial operations across multiple asset types and jurisdictions. The successful candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strategic vision, providing leadership and insight across all entities and SPVs, and ensuring excellence in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare financial statements, management accounts, cash-flow statements, and budgets for Family Office entities and SPVs
- Own and manage audit engagements
- Oversee real estate holding entities, including accounting for lease rentals, property valuations, impairments, and reporting
- Manage and maintain accounting records for Family Office assets, ensuring compliance with relevant SPV structures
- Work closely with stakeholders of various SPVs to ensure continuity of operations and provide financial insights, reports, and analysis as required
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, corporate administrators, and consultants to ensure compliance with KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, and other legal requirements
- Take full responsibility for cash management, ensuring timely availability of funds, forecasting cash requirements, and maintaining accurate multi-currency banking records.
- Ensure Oracle ERP modules are used effectively to maintain accurate accounting records and streamline reporting processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in Family Office finance
- Proven experience preparing financial statements from trial balances, bank reconciliations, and supporting audit requirements
- Working knowledge of complex assets (e.g., yachts, aircraft, art, cars) and SPV structures
- Experience managing multi-jurisdictional banking and multi-currency operations
- Experienced in Oracle ERP and able to use its modules to maintain and analyse accounting records

- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
