We are delighted to partner with an independent and privately owned Family Office Services provider in their search for a Client Director. Based in Jersey, this prestigious firm supports an international client base, providing bespoke services to meet the complex needs of high-net-worth individuals and families.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by developing and nurturing both existing and new client and intermediary relationships. You will collaborate closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to support the delivery of the broader business development strategy. Additionally, you will provide mentoring and guidance to administration teams, ensuring opportunities to expand existing client relationships or secure new business are identified and managed effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent levels of client service in line with company standards, procedures and guidelines
• Act as the highest authority on technical client specific matters
• Responsible for delivering agreed new business targets
• Be a role model and ambassador for the company internally and externally, attending conferences, networking events and other relevant opportunities
• Oversee resourcing, retention, and development in your function
• Collaborate with fellow Directors to drive client service delivery and enhance the performance of client handling teams
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to champion the firm’s vision, mission, and values
• Be accountable to the Board and stakeholders, applying skill and care in executing your duties with integrity and professionalism
• Play a key role in growing the Family Office Services client base by fostering relationships with existing clients and intermediaries while cultivating new opportunities
• Identify new business opportunities, manage intermediary relationships and build the new business pipeline

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Recognised Professional Qualification
• 15 years’ relevant finance industry experience with a minimum of 8 years working at senior level within an offshore financial services organisation
• A detailed understanding of corporate governance, compliance and risk management
• Proven private client BD experience working with family office structures
• Established network of intermediaries with an existing profile in the middle east
• Experience holding directorships
