KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as business partner for the Property business unit
• Account for all capital expenditure within the Group
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure the adequacy of financial controls
• Prepare management information in relation to the Property business unit
• Carry out all finance-related activity in relation to freehold and leasehold properties
• Prepare annual budget and ad hoc forecasts in relation to the Property business unit

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Accounting experience in a similar role is essential
• Bookkeeping qualifications are essential
• Studying towards a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is preferable
• Previous experience or working in a commercial, property or retail business is preferable
• Knowledge and understanding of the industry, regulatory and statutory requirements;
• Strong IT skills
