KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the compliance team in monitoring and developing the firm’s internal controls
  • Support with the ongoing review of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and assist with regulatory reporting
  • Undertake periodic reviews of Politically Exposed Persons and Higher Risk client
  • Provide day-to-day support on ad-hoc compliance queries and projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to A level (or equivalent) with strong academic grades
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar compliance-focused role
  • Completed or willing to study for a relevant ICA qualification
  • Competent IT user with solid knowledge of MS Office

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels
  • Motivated to learn and develop within the compliance profession
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
