We're working with a long-standing and respected Jersey-based financial services firm who are looking to hire a Compliance Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 2–5 years’ experience in compliance or trust company business.

This varied role will support the delivery of the firm’s compliance programme – including compliance monitoring, client reviews, regulatory reporting, and general advisory work. You'll also get the chance to engage with emerging technologies and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with compliance monitoring activities
  • Support client file reviews and onboarding
  • Provide day-to-day advice to business teams on AML/CFT, CDD/KYC, and regulatory obligations
  • Support the enhancement of internal systems and reporting, including interest in emerging AI or automation tools to drive efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in financial services, ideally within a Trust Company Business or similarly regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF frameworks and CDD/KYC standards
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring and client onboarding processes
  • Exposure to emerging tech and AI tools in compliance is a plus

  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Clear communicator, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in a small team with hands-on responsibility
  • Interest in technology and a willingness to adopt automation tools
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
