The role would suit an individual already working in a similar position, or someone with 2–3 years’ banking experience who is ready to take the next step.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of savings, mortgage and corporate banking products
- Assist with pricing, forecasting, liquidity management and commercial performance analysis
- Coordinate product launches, pricing changes and customer communications across relevant systems and channels
- Support product governance activities, including approvals, reviews and documentation
- Gather customer, market and competitor insights to support future product propositions
- Provide excellent support to corporate banking clients, ensuring instructions and requests are completed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a strong focus on risk, regulatory compliance and positive customer outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer journeys and operational efficiency
- Work collaboratively with teams across the business to support product development and wider commercial objectives
- Contribute to the delivery of business growth objectives through effective product and client support
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2–3 years’ experience within a banking, financial services or client support environment, or previous experience in a similar product-focused role
- Understanding of banking products, ideally including savings and mortgage products
- Understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory responsibilities
- Experience in product development, product management or proposition support would be advantageous
- Knowledge of pricing, forecasting or commercial analysis would be beneficial
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills would be desirable
