We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Associate to join our client's growing Data Assurance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional with experience in audit, assurance, analytics, and emerging technologies to play a key role in delivering innovative assurance solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Working at the intersection of data, technology, and audit, you will utilise advanced analytical techniques, data transformation tools, and AI-enabled technologies to support financial statement audits, controls assurance, and wider risk assurance engagements. You will also have the opportunity to coach junior team members, contribute to innovation initiatives, and help shape the future of data-enabled assurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support external financial statement audit engagements as a Lead Senior within the Data Assurance team
• Complete planning procedures and client walkthroughs to gain an understanding of IT environments, systems, reports, databases, and associated controls
• Design, develop, and execute data analytical procedures to support efficient and effective audit testing
• Document data analytics methodologies and results in accordance with audit and assurance standards
• Utilise leading digital tools and technologies to perform testing and assurance activities
• Apply data analysis techniques to assess the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, interfaces, and key reports
• Manage project activities to ensure Data Assurance engagements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Support the adoption of innovative technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, across assurance engagements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Business Studies, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification, part qualification, or relevant Data Science/Data Engineering qualification
• Experience supporting internal or external audit and assurance engagements as a Data Assurance specialist
• Experience applying data analytics techniques within audit, assurance, risk, or consulting environments
