Apply for this jobWe’re working with a highly respected financial services business seeking a Director of Funds to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial direction across its fund administration, corporate services, and private wealth functions.
This is a senior, high-impact position — ideal for a visionary leader with a strong network, deep sector knowledge, and a proven ability to inspire teams and nurture client relationships. You’ll play a key role in shaping operational strategy, driving performance, and maintaining the firm’s market-leading reputation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the fund administration, corporate services, and private wealth teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Deliver strategic direction and ensure efficient, high-quality client service across all portfolios
- Oversee operational excellence and regulatory compliance across multiple service lines
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth and enhancement
- Represent the business at senior client and regulatory meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and ambassador for the firm
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, technology adoption, and team capability
- Collaborate closely with other business leaders to align service delivery with wider strategic goals
- Provide leadership in assessing, developing, and maximising the potential of existing client relationships
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Table 4 professional qualification (e.g., STEP, TEP, CGI, ACCA, LLB)
- 10–12 years’ experience in fund administration or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role
- Deep knowledge of fund structures and fund administration practices, particularly across alternative asset classes
- Prior or current regulatory approval in a Prescribed Role
- Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams and complex client portfolios
- Demonstrated success in driving operational strategy and supporting commercial growth
- Familiarity with fund administration systems such as Investran, eFront, or Allvue
