Our client, an exciting asset manager, is seeking to add a trader as we go into the new year following an excellent 2021.

Working within a prominent team of highly regarded individuals, the role will will focus on providing multi-asset execution services to the external advisory business and to internal trading books.

This is a key hire for an exciting asset manager, and the successful candidate will join an ambitious firm with a fantastic management team.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To provide multi-asset execution services to the external advisory business and to internal trading books
• To act in the best interest of the funds and use discretion when reviewing trade recommendations
• Utilise voice and e-trading platforms to provide best execution services
• Monitor positioning and trade recommendations in relation to agreed risk mandates

Principal duties and responsibilities

• Multi Asset Execution of all Advisory relationships across the funds. At times service across the wider business if required
• Take an active role in the trade approval process. Review trade recommendation, use discretion and monitor portfolios and risk levels
• Maintaining relationships with banks/brokers as well as ensuring risk limits/mandates are not breached via close relationship with the Risk management team
• Dealing directly with Compliance/Middle Office to resolve any fund allocation issues

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4-7 years execution experience on a trading desk
• Good understanding of all market instruments. Some understanding of FX, Fixed Income Products and derivatives preferred
• Hold a professional qualification as required under JFSC legislation to transact / execute market trades. Minimum (ACI Dealing Certificate / Investment Management Certificate)
