We are seeking an Ethics & Independence Manager to join a high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical knowledge in a more advisory and oversight capacity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work closely with the Compliance, Independence & Ethics leadership team to support the delivery of compliance, independence and ethics initiatives
  • Provide guidance on independence and conflict matters in line with regulatory and firm standards
  • Support internal risk assessments and related monitoring activities
  • Assist with policy implementation, updates and internal communications
  • Contribute to compliance-related projects and system enhancements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support governance requirements
  • Act as a key internal contact for ethics and independence queries across the business

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Background in Audit or a regulated financial services environment
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent) would be beneficial
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, professional standards and independence requirements
  • Experience working to deadlines within a structured and regulated environment

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong aptitude for systems and process tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
