We are seeking an Ethics & Independence Manager to join a high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical knowledge in a more advisory and oversight capacity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Compliance, Independence & Ethics leadership team to support the delivery of compliance, independence and ethics initiatives
- Provide guidance on independence and conflict matters in line with regulatory and firm standards
- Support internal risk assessments and related monitoring activities
- Assist with policy implementation, updates and internal communications
- Contribute to compliance-related projects and system enhancements
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support governance requirements
- Act as a key internal contact for ethics and independence queries across the business
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Background in Audit or a regulated financial services environment
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent) would be beneficial
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, professional standards and independence requirements
- Experience working to deadlines within a structured and regulated environment
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong aptitude for systems and process tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
