Our client, a leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services, is seeking an accomplished Executive Director to lead their Private Wealth team. This is a senior-level, board position offering the opportunity to drive the strategic direction of the Private Wealth division, delivering tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and companies globally.

In this pivotal role, you will manage and expand the firm’s private wealth services, overseeing key client relationships and ensuring that service delivery consistently meets the highest standards. We are looking for a leader with deep expertise in private wealth management and a proven record of executive-level success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Board member and ‘A’ signatory of the company and its affiliated companies
  • Oversee and manage a book of client relationships in accordance with procedures manuals, relevant laws, guidelines, regulations and codes
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislative and professional standards that impact on the Company’s work
  • Take full ownership for the financial results and performance of one or more team(s)
  • Responsibility for defining and meeting business development targets
  • Oversee the quality and integrity of the Company’s accounting and financial reporting
  • Have detailed understanding of the Company’s vision and align the Jersey planning accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Be / to be registered as a Principal Person with the Jersey Financial Services Commission
  • Hold a professional qualification that meets Category A status recognised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission
  • The post holder should have extensive fiduciary knowledge at a senior level, to include previous Board experience
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and manage team to drive high performance

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • A deep understanding of high-net-worth client needs, with a commitment to delivering personalised and discreet service
  • Excellent critical analysis and problem-solving skills, ability to convey these to the team to improve standard of work and levels of efficiency
  • Ability to obtain an overview of a situation promptly and ascertain potential problem areas and solutions thereon
  • Good understanding of financial markets and finances in general
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
