We are seeking an experienced Fiduciary Accountant to join a high-performing finance and client accounting function. In this role, you will take ownership of preparing financial statements and maintaining accurate books and records for a diverse portfolio of client entities.

You will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, supporting regulatory compliance, and strengthening internal controls. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working with complex reconciliations, reviewing junior team outputs, and delivering high-quality financial information to tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of client entities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books and records in line with accounting standards
• Perform and review complex reconciliations across multiple entities and structures
• Review and sign off work prepared by junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support
• Ensure all reporting complies with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including finance, compliance, and client teams
• Support process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives within the accounting function
• Assist with audit queries and year-end reporting processes

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fiduciary, client accounting, or similar financial services environment
• Qualified or part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
• Strong experience preparing financial statements under UK GAAP, IFRS, or equivalent standards
• Proven ability to manage reconciliations and complex accounting structures
