As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with business leaders to provide meaningful analysis, financial guidance, and actionable insights, supporting both operational and strategic objectives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, applying accounting standards, and turning data into clear, impactful reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing commercial insight and financial guidance to support decision-making
- Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial information and reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with accounting standards
- Apply principles of data governance and reporting, including quality, model integrity, confidentiality, and management of definitions
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and performance monitoring
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial controls, business improvement initiatives, and efficiency measures
- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable way to non-finance stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Fully qualified accountant with a recognised accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in finance business partnering or a similar role
- Strong understanding and application of accounting standards
- Demonstrable experience in analysing and interpreting financial data
- Experience providing financial insight to support commercial decision-making
