We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading professional services firm in the Cayman Islands. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the Cayman office’s financial operations, ensuring effective financial control, operational efficiency, and high-quality service delivery across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing core finance processes, driving process improvements, and partnering with senior stakeholders to support the continued success of the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Cayman office
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and financial control processes
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with local financial and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the finance function
• Partner with senior stakeholders and department heads to provide financial guidance and support
• Monitor financial performance and support strategic decision-making
• Oversee billing, WIP management, and revenue control processes
• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external advisors where required
• Ensure high standards of service delivery across the finance function

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience within a Finance Manager role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of financial operations, reporting, and compliance requirements within the Cayman Islands
• Experience working with legal finance systems and practice management software, preferably Aderant
• Relevant accounting qualification would be advantageous
