KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations across accounts payable, receivable, and cash management
- Lead, support, and develop a high-performing finance operations team
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant financial regulations
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver operational excellence
- Contribute to the ongoing development of financial systems and technology
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree-level education and/or professional qualification in finance is desirable
- Proven track record of operating successfully at manager level within a partnership or professional services environment
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team
- Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable within professional services.
- Understanding of law firm regulatory requirements for cash and client money handling is beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of finance technology and systems relevant to professional services
