This is a broad, high-impact role offering true ownership across multiple entities and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entity & Financial Control: Take full ownership for several corporate entities — overseeing GL integrity, month-end close, and financial accuracy in Workday Finance
- Governance & Reporting: Prepare statutory accounts, management reports, and regulatory filings, while maintaining strong relationships with auditors and regulators
- Operational Oversight: Act as the key finance contact for HR, Payroll, AP, and FP&A to ensure seamless operations, compliance, and accurate financial data
- Deferred Compensation: Manage the accounting and administration of deferred compensation schemes, working closely with HR and Legal on communications and compliance
- Process & Systems Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation projects to enhance control and reporting efficiency
- Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, providing insight and financial leadership to support business objectives and decision-making
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- 5–10 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within financial services
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
- Strong UK GAAP knowledge; familiarity
