As Financial Systems Analyst you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day function of the firm's finance systems and provide assistance to delivering a set of ongoing improvement programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as an administrator for Aderant Expert, eBilling Hub, BillFiler, and ViewPoint systems
• Provide support service responding to queries from fee earners, secretaries, HR, BD and finance staff
• Assist with the evaluation of upgrades, patches and fixes
• Assist with the delivery of Finance and IT projects
• Keep finance systems up to date as well as running regular systems routines such as month end processing
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
• Analyse workflows to develop efficient procedures and processes for all stakeholders
• Document processes, procedures and policies as specified by the firm's management and auditors
• Work with third party support providers and IT to seek resolution to logged issues
• Create and execute T-SQL scripts and stored procedures
• Provide support on current Finance Systems projects and review of current working practices with a view to streamlining and improvement

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years + accounting systems experience in a law firm or other professional services environment
• Experience of working with SQL/SSRS
• Ability to source data in response to ad-hoc data requests
• Prior experience using Aderant Expert, ViewPoint, Elite 3E, Enterprise, or other PMS would be desirable
