As a Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in the Fund Accounting team, providing high-quality fund valuation and accounting services. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with fund documentation, legal, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards. We have openings at various levels, from entry-level to senior positions, offering opportunities for growth and professional development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing Financial Statements with supporting documentation
• Preparation of monthly valuations, reconciliations of fund draw downs and distributions, accruals, expenses etc
• Double entry bookkeeping to the accounting system
• Cash reconciliation and management for the Funds
• Preparation of draw down, equalisation and distribution calculations in accordance with the Fund documentation
• Attend client and audit meetings as required
• Review and monitor existing business processes, procedures and checklists

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Hold or working towards ACCA/ACA or similar qualifications
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Basic understanding of fund structures and fund cash flows

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Able to collaborate and work with team managers in multiple jurisdictions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong skillset with Microsoft Excel
• Sound analytical and problem solving skills
• Candidates must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
