This role offers flexibility and could be either permanent or a fixed-term contract (9-12 months). As a key member of the Fund Controlling Team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of funds. This involves delivering accurate financial reports that comply with fund policies, industry standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
The company is committed to innovation and has heavily invested in digitalisation. You'll work with cutting-edge tools like Investran Live and PowerBI, leveraging a robust IT infrastructure to streamline processes and focus on high-impact tasks.
You’ll act as a business partner across multiple departments and report directly to the Fund Controlling Manager based in Jersey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and fund registers
- Reconcile bank transactions and Investran
- Reconcile working capital balances with Lux SPV books
- Check investor capital account allocation
- Prepare complex bookkeeping
- Prepare annual financial statements and internal management reports
- Prepare quarterly cash flows schedules
- Prepare of quarterly management accounts
- Liaise with external service providers for the preparation of certain tax and regulatory returns
- Prepare tax /regulatory financial information for the external providers/advisors (eg Annex IV reporting)
- Liaise with external auditors to support the audit process
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant accounting qualifications (ACA or ACCA or equivalent)
- 3+ years fund accounting experience
- Previous experience on general ledger systems of accounting, Investran would be beneficial
- Closed ended private equity fund experience would be beneficial
