Group Commercial Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing key growth sales strategies to increase revenues and meet the Group’s ambitious growth strategy and targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the business in identifying new opportunities and ensuring that products and services are market-fit based on current sector trends and anticipated future market developments
- Maximise new business development opportunities
- Undertake market research and identify and analyse threats and opportunities
- Implement new client acquisition strategies and embed cross selling initiatives
- Collaborate with, coordinate and cross selling opportunities with diverse internal teams
- Take ownership of the sales targets and plans
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to raise the image of the company through media and events
- Build relationships with key clients and intermediaries and develop a structured intermediary strategy
- Provide market feedback on product development ideas, client needs and competitor services to the Executive Team
- Establish and manage long-term relationship with stakeholders and understand the requirements of our existing customer base
- Measure analyse and provide insights to relevant Boards base on commercial KPIs
- Manage, track and report on expenditures, financial goals and budgets
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a Financial Services role
- Full understanding of international markets and have an in-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics
- Experience in creating and managing budgets
