Head of Compliance

As the Head of Compliance, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You'll work closely with senior management to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with colleagues in developing and maintaining a good compliance culture throughout the Jersey business
- Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Money Compliance Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer, where required
- Ensure all aspects of the role and responsibilities are complied with in accordance with the relevant Jersey legislation and regulations
- Provide advice on the compliance implications of proposed new services ahead of referral by the business to the Board
- Serve as a member of the New Business Committee
- Attendance and input into New Business Committee meetings
- Responsible for overseeing the Compliance Monitoring Plan and providing feedback to the Board
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
- Corporate and Fund experience would be preferred
- Senior Management experience in Risk and Compliance
- Hold relevant professional qualifications such as ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance
