Our client a global investment company are seeking a Hedge Fund KYC Specialist to join the team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying the identity of Hedge Fund clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

We're looking for someone who has experience in Hedge Fund KYC or compliance, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You'll work closely with the compliance team to ensure that all onboarding processes are efficient, accurate and in compliance with internal and external policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and handle the approval and onboarding process for new trading counterparties
• Manage the schedule and the process of periodic counterparty/broker review
• Manage the process of AML/KYC requests from counterparties/brokers
• Coordinate the approval process for trading in new financial instruments and new markets
• Periodic AML/KYC/Sanction reviews for investment products and portfolio positions
• Vendor onboarding and on-going due diligence

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years PQE
• Ability to digest relevant AML/KYC/sanction regulations
