KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide HR support and advice to all line managers and employees and assist in the maintenance of good employee relations whilst monitoring the ‘social’ climate
- Deal effectively with any issues of performance, capability, absence, disciplinary and grievance in accordance with best practice
- Track employee absence levels
- Be the HR point of contact for the management of all parental leave ensuring it is within policy and meets local legislation
- Provide support and counselling to employees and resolving conflict where required
- Play a key role in restructuring projects such as redundancy, redeployment, and compromise agreements
- Maintain local Employee Handbook in line with policy / procedural updates
- Ensure the second review and approval of all candidate screening
- Check and sign off all new joiners once added to the required tools by the HR Administrator, ensuring all data is current and accurate
- Ensure all HR records / databases (local & Group) are up-to-date and accurate
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years’ experience in a HR role, preferably within Finance
- Minimum CPP-qualified
- Strong MS office skills
- Knowledge of GrassRoots (Payroll software) and PeopleSoft
- Local market awareness, connectivity
