  • Maintenance and ongoing development of the people systems
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll reports for approval by the Chief Operating Officer
  • Maintain, understand and advise on employment policies and procedures
  • Manage the recruitment of new members of staff
  • Assist in the identification of learning & development needs at all levels
  • To be available to all staff as a trusted advisor for personal matters pertaining to their employment
  • Manage the absence management policy
  • Oversee the appraisal process
  • Oversee the implementation and subsequent monitoring of personal Improvement plans
  • Administer disciplinary processes as and when they are required
  • Manage the firm’s benefits schemes
  • Drive the firm’s social sctivities
  • Liaise with external agencies and government bodies as necessary, including the population office and immigration service


  • Ideally be qualified to at least CIPD Level 5, but the company is willing to support the training to reach that level
  • Technical knowledge and experience in an HR generalist role
  • Eagerness to further develop, and study within the CIPD courses and qualifications
  • A thorough understanding of Jersey Employment Law & best practices


  • Uphold high ethical standards
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and proactive in addressing HR issues and opportunities
  • Strong and concise communication skills (written and verbal, active listening)
  • Strong analytical ability, with a keen aptitude for problem solving
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management abilities to efficiently manage HR operations
