As an HR Officer, you’ll be part of a dynamic, close-knit team where your contributions matter. You’ll handle a range of responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding to supporting employee engagement initiatives and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. It’s a fantastic role for someone with foundational HR experience who’s ready to build on their skills in a supportive environment that values growth and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the business to manage HR support and acting in an advisory role
- Offer employees broad HR support, advice and solutions.
- Aid the recruitment process including coordinating with agencies and conducting interviews
- Provide first day induction training to all new employees
- Administration of employee on-boarding and off-boarding procedures
- Building and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders and external parties and suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Up to two years’ experience within Human Resources
- Experience working with a HR Database or Payroll software
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Desire to attend HR training and seminars to broaden industry knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills, service techniques, the ability to preserve confidentiality
- A high degree of numeracy and literacy
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
