Are you a people-oriented HR professional with around 2 years of experience, looking to grow your career in a respected, community-focused bank? We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a driven HR Officer to join our client’s team.

As an HR Officer, you’ll be part of a dynamic, close-knit team where your contributions matter. You’ll handle a range of responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding to supporting employee engagement initiatives and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. It’s a fantastic role for someone with foundational HR experience who’s ready to build on their skills in a supportive environment that values growth and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work closely with the business to manage HR support and acting in an advisory role
  • Offer employees broad HR support, advice and solutions.
  • Aid the recruitment process including coordinating with agencies and conducting interviews
  • Provide first day induction training to all new employees
  • Administration of employee on-boarding and off-boarding procedures
  • Building and managing relationships with key internal stakeholders and external parties and suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Up to two years’ experience within Human Resources
  • Experience working with a HR Database or Payroll software

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Desire to attend HR training and seminars to broaden industry knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, service techniques, the ability to preserve confidentiality
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy
  • Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
