HR Officer (reduced hours considered)
Apply for this jobWe’re supporting a well-respected financial services business with the appointment of an HR Officer to join their small but high-performing HR team. This role will provide broad administrative and operational support to the Head of HR, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day people operations.
This is a flexible and supportive environment that would suit either:
– A trainee or early-career HR professional looking to build experience and grow within a structured, well-supported team.
– Or someone more experienced looking to work reduced hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Head of HR with all aspects of HR administration and coordination
- Maintain employee records and update HR systems as required
- Assist with onboarding, leaver processing, and general employee lifecycle tasks
- Coordinate meetings, interviews, and HR-related communications
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection standards
- Support on ad hoc HR projects and team initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems
- CIPD Level 3 (or interest in working toward it) is a bonus
