We are delighted to be supporting our client with the appointment of an In-House Funds Paralegal. The successful candidate will work for a world-leading private investment house, the company is majority-owned by its employees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide legal support on the Jersey legal and regulatory aspects of creation, structuring and management of funds and their SPVs
• Provide legal support with respect to transfers of interests in funds and SPVs and drafting, reviewing and negotiating of relevant transfer documentation
• Provide legal support with respect to the implementation of investment transactions and ensuring compliance with the UK’s board and committee procedures
• Attend board meetings and provide legal support to nominated directors of general partner boards as required
• Collaborate with and provide legal support to other departments
• Monitoring regulatory developments in Jersey or elsewhere if such developments impact operations in Jersey

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• The successful candidate will be a lawyer qualified in a competent jurisdiction with proven PQE experience
• Experience in funds work, including some fund structuring
• Ideally exposure to private equity/venture capital
