Information Technology Delivery Manager
Apply for this jobWe are working with a leading professional services organisation seeking an experienced Information Technology Delivery Manager to join its Technology Consulting practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a technology professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology and delivery, leading client-facing projects and digital transformation initiatives from discovery through to implementation. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, development teams and solution architects, while also helping shape the future direction of the Technology Consulting practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of client-facing and internal technology projects, from discovery and requirements through to implementation and ongoing support
- Manage project scope, plans, milestones, budgets, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
- Act as a technical Product Owner, translating business objectives into clear requirements, user stories and deliverables
- Facilitate client and stakeholder workshops to understand business processes and define functional and non-functional requirements
- Manage and prioritise project and product backlogs, balancing business value, technical dependencies, risk and team capacity
- Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore development teams, providing clear direction and accountability
- Bridge the gap between business and technology teams,
- Work with developers and solution architects to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned to business needs
- Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, issues, financial performance and key decisions
- Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, issues and dependencies
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders
- Coach and develop junior team members
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Significant experience delivering technology projects ideally within professional services or a consulting environment
- Relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2, AgilePM or Scrum
- Strong business analysis experience
- Experience operating as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or equivalent
- Sufficient technical knowledge to engage confidently with developers and solution architects and assess solution design, dependencies and technical risk
- Experience working within formal risk, quality, security and governance frameworks
- A strong academic background in Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with AI tools and technologies
