The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and support of the firm’s global desktop and VDI environment. Core responsibility will be to be first point of contact via telephone and instant messaging channels, with secondary responsibility to triage first time fix solutions provided by support and senior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active Directory administration
- Microsoft Exchange administration
- Software deployment
- Provide direct support for all client applications and hardware
- New user setup
- Creation and maintenance of IT Documentation
- Provide support to senior Traders and VIP’s
- Ensure that all IT requests are logged and managed in line with company procedures
- Collaborate with IT counterparts and vendor management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years’ IT experience, most recent 3 years within Financial Services
- Microsoft Office Suite, Strong Excel knowledge
- Market data applications; Bloomberg experience would be an advantage
- Good understanding of control and delivery principles
- Used to working to best practice methodologies such as ITIL
- VMWare VSphere Suite Administration
- Active directory administration including GPO
- Understanding of build and client distribution architectures
