We have an exciting opportunity to join a family office as a junior MLRO.  The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the risks and to ensure the family office has the systems and controls in place are sufficiently robust, to meet business regulatory obligations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all regulatory requirements for the business is met
• Notify the team of any issues arising, with recommendations for change if applicable
• Communicate compliance and risk standards applicable to the business to internal and external clients
• Identify, assess, monitor and escalate compliance risks and requirements applicable to the business
• Providing AML/ compliance guidance and dealing with escalations from all areas of the business, being the point of contact for compliance related queries
• Liaising with external parties where appropriate and be primary point of contact for all regulatory / law enforcement agencies
• Possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Recommend "best practice" changes to such processes and procedures arising from analytical reviews performed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge and experience of compliance & financial crime regulations, particularly in trust / fund management
• Strong communication and organisational skills are imperative as is the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to analyse reports, identify failings and to notify same together with recommendations for remediation
