We are supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced Legal Counsel to join their Legal, Regulatory and Compliance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business, shaping decisions, and influencing strategy across multiple jurisdictions.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment, is confident managing a broad workload, and is motivated by delivering high-quality, pragmatic legal advice that supports commercial objectives while ensuring robust compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders across a range of corporate and commercial matters
• Support the business in operating within relevant legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Advise on regulatory matters and support the Compliance team as required
• Contribute to the development of processes that enhance the quality, efficiency and impact of the in-house legal function
• Work with colleagues on requests for proposals and/or supplier and customer onboarding
• Assist on company secretarial matters, working (where relevant) with external service providers
• Ensure high standards of governance, risk management and legal integrity

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years’ PQE, ideally gained in a corporate legal environment
• Strong experience providing practical, solutions-driven legal advice
• Confident navigating commercial and regulatory matters
• High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism are essential
