We’re working with a highly respected international organisation seeking a Legal Counsel to join their in-house Legal team.

This broad, commercially focused in-house role involves advising directors and senior leadership across a wide range of matters. It’s an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer with strong post-qualification experience — ideally from a corporate/funds background or an in-house role within a regulated environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide legal advice and support to directors and senior management
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, contracts, and internal documentation
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the business, ensuring compliance with applicable laws in all operating locations
• Support internal licensing processes and assist with regulatory applications and renewals
• Contribute to strategic projects and internal initiatives from a legal perspective
• Liaise with external counsel where required and manage legal input into cross-border matters
• Proactively identify legal risks and opportunities, offering mitigation strategies and solutions
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation and industry regulations, updating policies and stakeholders accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Lawyer with significant post-qualification experience, ideally in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team
• Corporate / funds law experience / prior in-house legal experience
• CGI and/or STEP qualifications are advantageous (full support for these qualifications will be provided, if you wish)
