We’re working with a high-performing boutique litigation firm known for delivering sharp advice on complex civil and criminal matters. They’re looking for a Litigation Associate – someone bright, ambitious, and ready to take on meaningful work from day one.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer (SQE preferred, LPC/BVC also considered) to gain hands-on experience, close mentorship, and exposure to top-tier litigation in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment.

The role is based in Jersey, with relocation support available for UK-based applicants looking to build a long-term career in a thriving offshore legal market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Support senior lawyers on high-value cases across civil and criminal litigation
• Draft and prepare court bundles, pleadings, skeleton arguments, and correspondence
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, and conferences, producing clear notes and summaries
• Conduct legal research and help manage disclosure
• Prepare documents such as witness statements, chronologies, and dramatis personae
• Manage case files and, with experience, run matters under supervision

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2:1 degree (or equivalent) preferred
• LPC or BVC (or equivalent) required – offers made prior to qualification will be subject to exam completion
• SQE-qualified candidates strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a litigation setting is an advantage
• Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills
• Solid understanding – or appetite to learn – civil and criminal procedures
• Confident using Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
