Manager, Compliance Policy and Regulatory Engagement Lead
Apply for this jobWe are seeking an experienced Compliance Policy & Regulatory Engagement Lead to join our client’s team in Jersey. You will lead and coach a team in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the firm’s compliance framework.
You will also play a pivotal role in embedding technology to drive efficiencies, strengthen controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. As a key member of the compliance leadership team, you will act as the primary support to the firm’s MLCO, contributing to the development and application of AML/CFT and CPF policies, and managing regulatory relationships with the Jersey authorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and develop a compliance policy team to deliver high standards of work
- Oversee the firm’s compliance framework, ensuring it is robust, up to date, and effectively embedded across the business
- Act as a primary support to the MLCO in applying AML/CFT and CPF policies and procedures
- Build and manage strong relationships with regulators and other key stakeholders
- Drive adoption of compliance technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Provide subject matter expertise on compliance frameworks and regulatory obligations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW)
- ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance (or willingness to complete in role)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance role, ideally with experience as an MLRO, Deputy MLRO, or within a financial crime team
- Experience in managing relationships with regulators
- Familiarity with global compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in compliance-related technologies
