KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the preparation of new client proposals / fee quotes and participate in new business pitches
- Assist with the take-on and the transfer-in of new business, in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Administer a portfolio of fund clients, respective management companies and associated fund structures, ensuring that client relationships and transactions are managed efficiently
- Co-ordinate company secretarial matters
- Assist with the monthly/quarterly billing process and monitoring of debtors
- Maintain a committed focus on KPIs under your remit
- Act as an authorised signatory over client bank accounts
- Ensure that the funds comply with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Effectively monitor and manage the day-to-day tasks and workload of employees reporting to you
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven fund experience, preferably administration and company secretarial experience
- Hold a relevant chartered secretary or chartered governance qualification (or ACCA / legal qualifications)
- An experienced professional with a strong background in fund administration and a deep understanding of Jersey structures
- Have an understanding of identifying risk, in particular foreign tax risk, complex fiduciary risk and financial crime risk
- Knowledge of specialist software e.g. PCS (Investran), Document Management Systems and Viewpoint would be an advantage
